Legislations in Facilities Management

Facilities Management operations and work is governed by a large number of legislations which are overseen by various Ministries and Statutory Boards. Some of the legislations are directly linked to specific technical maintenance requirements such as Lift and Cooling Tower Maintenance. Others such as Workplace Safety and Health are overarching rather than specific and as such may not receive as much attention as specific legislations leading to consequences for failure to comply.
