The Skills Redevelopment Programme (SRP) is an initiative by NTUC with the objective of enhancing the employability of workers by encouraging employers to send workers for training that leads to certification. To this end, funding support is available for SRP approved courses.
The Skills Redevelopment Programme-Real Estate Management & Maintenance Industry (SRP-REMMI) has its roots in the Building Construction & Timber Industries Employees' Union seeking skills upgrading of its members employed in the industry. The initiative received the support of several lead players in their consent to serve in the Industry Lead Body and the launch of SRP-REMMI.

Improve knowledge and skills in the industry to level up service standards and increase productivity and efficiency
Foster the development of an inter-disciplinary, multi-skilled workforce and an integrative work environment
Create a career path for those in, and intending to work in the industry and provide continuing education and training opportunities
Enhance professionalism and help transform the unglamorous image of the industry
