Custodian Graduation Ceremony - 14 Aug 07
The Graduation Ceremony for the pioneer batch of 50 Building Custodians
was held on Tuesday 14 August 2007, at NTUC Centre. Guest-of-Honour
Associate Professor Ho Peng Kee, Senior Minister of State for Home
Affairs & Law, presented the Certificates to the Custodians,
most of whom are working in residential and institutional buildings.
Associate Professor Ho in his address,
encouraged job seekers to give consideration the Building Custodian
job, which provides stable employment and career advancement in
the emerging & growing Real Estate Management & Maintenance
Industry. For existing cleaners, he urged them to upgrade their
skills to become Building Custodians.

Associate Professor Ho congratulates 57-year old
Building Custodian Choy Yan Choon. Mr Choy was
re-skilled after being retrenched from his previous
job as an Assistant Production Officer.

of Re-skilled Property Officers Complete Training - 18 Apr 08
16 Re-skilled Property Officers have commenced work with their employers.

10th Intake
of SRP-REMMI Building Inspectors Graduate - 12 January 08
10 Building Inspectors from FM Service Providers & Maintenance
Contractors received their Certificates in Building Inspection from
RECC Centre Director Dr Quah Lee Kiang. The Inspectors were trained
in the REMMI (Real Estate Management & Maintenance Industry)
Inspection System, which is underpinned by NEN 2767, a new Dutch
standard developed to reduce subjectivity in Building Condition
Assessment.
